IMF finds corruption in TOR, SSNIT

The International Monetary Fund (IMF), sniffing massive corruption in Ghana’s Tema Oil Refinery and other state corporations and companies has decided to initiate far-reaching probes into the operations of most of them, including SSNIT.

Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, the NPP Parliamentary spokesman on Finance who disclosed this to Chronicle in an interview at Afidwase in Ashanti last Sunday, explained that the decision was particularly influenced by the stinking revelations made in a study the fund conducted into the activities of SSNIT (Social Security and National Insurance Trust) that takes care, among others, workers pensions.
