I will kill myself if Mills wins - Konadu’s Prophet says

A self-acclaimed Prophet, Segbene Xenodzi, has told The Herald that God has revealed to him that Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings will beat Prof. Atta Mills for the flagbearership race and lead the national Democratic Congress (NDC) into the 2012 presidential election.

Prophet Segbene has made a song for Mrs. Rawlings extolling her as a shining star that has fallen from the sky.

He claimed God has spoken that the time has come for a woman to take the mantle of Leadership.

He called on the women of Ghana to rise up and transform the nation Ghana, because God has spoken, and so be it.

The prophet who resides near the Queen’s Hotel at Ashiaman in the Greater Accra Region, in a house bearing the inscription Elohi Elohi, declared to The Herald that he is ready to face the firing squad if President Mills should win the contest which takes place in Sunyani tomorrow.

“let me be taken to the firing squad, and killed immediately, if President Atta Mills wins the upcoming NDC congress”, says Xenodzi.

According to him, “the Elohi told me he had taken Ghana’s throne out of President Mills’ hands and given it to Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings to transform Ghana, and reduce poverty; also to take away a curse that is worrying our nation Ghana”.

“However,” he continued, “God says peradventure his word manifests, all those who don’t believe in God should repent and worship God in Ghana for the Lord’s eyes are upon Ghana for good”.

He later told the Herald via cell phone number 020094225, that he is ready to commit suicide if President Mills emerges the victor after tomorrow.

This was after this reporter told him how impossible it is for the state to pick and shoot him for getting the so-called prophesy wrong.
