Mustapha Riga to play in Scotland?

Rangers have taken an interest in Sparta Rotterdam's scoring sensation Mustapha Riga.

Riga is the star performer for Gouden Gids Divisie leaders Sparta, and his goals look set to buoy them to the title.

Championship side Stoke City have already been watching the star, but could now face competition from Scotland.

Gers assistant coach Jan Wouters was in attendance for their game against VVV Venlo, but may not have been wowed by a below-par performance from Riga's side in a 1-0 defeat.

Wouters was amongst a host of potential suitors, including representatives of Lille and Sochaux from the French Ligue 1.

The Ghanaian has never been as prolific in the past, but at just 23 is likely to continue to improve.
