Aspiring National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku popularly known in party circles as "Capo", has emphatically stated that he fully supports the upcoming National Youth Organizer’s debate slated for 30th day of June 2018.

The NPP National Youth Wing and Critical Thinkers International (CTI) in collaboration with Eastern Regional NPP Youth Wing under the chairmanship of Mr. Sammy Awuku have scheduled a debate for the National Youth Organizer Aspirants of the party.

The debate which is scheduled to take place at the All Nations University College Auditorium on Saturday is under the theme: “Harnessing Our Youthful Potentials for Sustained Political Power”.

Sammi Awuku, who is the chairman for the debate; speaking on Okayfm's "Ade Akye Abia" Programme, indicated that he is fully aware and in support of the debate put together by Critical Thinkers International (CTI).

“I called on all the Youth Organizer aspirants ie. Henry Nana Boakye, Kamal-Deen Abdulai, Emmanuel Nana Bediako D.A, Dominic Kwesi Eduah upon receiving the full knowledge of the debate which they all agreed to participate, giving me the expression that they are all in full support.

"I have therefore liaised with Hon. Kwadwo Oppong Nkrumah Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi and Deputy Minister for Information to be the Moderator, Hon. Dr. Mustapha Hamid, Minister For Information & Presidential Spokesperson, Dr. Kingsley Nyarko (Executive Director, Danquah Institute), Fred Amankwah-Sarfo (CEO Of Tekpro-RIS & Director Of Operations And Business Development, MTI Ghana Limited) to act as Panel Members who will spearhead the affairs for a successful programme.

"Even though the debate is voluntary which will give the aspirant a platform and opportunity to express their vision, policies and plans when elected as National Youth Organizer, no one will be forced to take part.

"However, if you really want to be a youth leader you need to face the party's teaming youth," he emphasized.

"Because in dealing with the NPP youth wing you need to develop a thick skin to be able to absorb every shot they throw at you," he stressed.

He has therefore encouraged all the youth organizer aspirants to take part in the debate.
