Okyenhene Cautions JJ and JAK's Ministers

OKYENHENE CAUTIONS RAWLINGS AND KUFUOR?S MINISTERS, AN EARNEST ROYAL ADVICE WELL RECEIVED BY ALL ? PG. 1 & BK. PG.

According to THE STATESMAN, Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin, has advised the former President Rawlings to move away from portraying a negative image of the country he ruled for 19 years when he is addressing a foreign audience.

The former President Rawlings was at Kyebi to attend the funeral of the former First Lady of the Second Republic, Mrs. Adeline Akufo-Addo.

Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin reminded the former President Rawlings that when the country is portrayed negatively in the outside world it affects more than the particular ruling party of the time. It is an indictment on the nation as a whole including those who are leading and those who have led.

The Okyenhene had earlier given a similar stern advice to President Kufuor?s Ministers when they paid a courtesy call on the Okyenhene at the Ofori Panin Fie.
