Mensah-Faisal Deal To Be Sealed Today

Alhaji Abdul Karim Grunsah, founder and owner of Kumasi-based King Faisal said he has concluded preliminary arrangements with Herbert Mensah, former boss of Kotoko, to own 70 per cent share in the club.

The final deal would be sealed on Thursday. Alhaji Grunsah who spoke Joy FM, an Accra-based FM station and monitored by the GNA Sports said the agreement would cover his entire family such that even after death, his children would continue.

He said he sees Mr Mensah as his kid brother who has what it takes to change the fortunes of club just as he did for Koktoko.

The king Faisal boss contended that Herbert really transformed Kotoko when he took over some four years ago and expressed the hope that he would bring his rich marketing experience to bear on Faisal.

Asantehene, Owner and life patron of Kotoko, dissolved the Herbert Mensah's administration on February 1.
