Blackburn Rovers Football Club could add a World Cup star to their squad before the end of the month.
Hot on the heels of signing Dutch international Andre Ooijer from PSV Eindhoven for ?2million, it has now been revealed that Ghana defender Shilla Illiasu is undergoing a trial at Ewood Park.
The powerful centre-half had a great tournament for the Black Stars in Germany, and he has revealed an ambition to test his talent in the English Premiership.
Illiasu, 23, currently plays in Ghana for Asante Kotoko, who have granted him permission to travel to England in his pursuit on winning a contract with Rovers.
