Hearts engage Liberty in a friendly on Friday

Accra, Oct. 6, GNA - Two premier clubs -Hearts and Liberty- whose performances have taken a nose dive in recent times engage each other in a special "revival" friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.

Hearts lost two of their last three matches against neophytes Real Sportive at the Accra Sports Stadium and took a confederation knock against Sable de Batie of Cameroon barely a week-and-a-half ago. Liberty's performance is no better; the Dansoman lads have registered two wins in six league games and just last weekend, were beaten 1-2 by visiting Sekondi Hasaacas.

A statement issued from the Hearts secretariat on Wednesday and signed by Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager said both teams intend to use the match as part of their preparations for both domestic and international assignments.

Kick off is at 1500 GMT, the statement added.
