Rousing Welcome For Kotoko

African Cup Winners cup finalist, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, returned home to a rousing welcome after their heroic feat which saw them go down by 0-1 to WAC of Morocco in far away Casablanca last Saturday.

The team which arrived without their head coach, Ralf Zumdick, who is attending to private business in Germany immediately plunged into serious training under the tutelage of assistant coach, Alhaji Yahaya and goalkeeper trainer, Joe Car.

In an interview, the players who showed visible signs of focus and determination, intimated that they would stop at nothing to clinch the ultimate diadem.

They were full of praises to their goal tender, Osei Boateng who stood between total walloping and expressed the hope that the goalkeeper would exhibit even better prowess in the return leg in Kumasi which is a just a week away.

The players promised their numerous supporters who thronged their training session to reserve the 0-1 deficit with a bigger score line to write their names in the history books of Ghana.

As part of the march towards their dream, the team will engage Equatorial Guinea in a trial match to assess their readiness on Sunday
