Goosie Tanoh recieves massive cheers from supporters at funeral

Presidential aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Goosie Tanoh on Saturday attended the funeral of the Nana Akwesi Kwarteng the Akontombrahene and Benkumhene of Sefwi wiawso Tradional Area in the Western Region where he was hailed by the delegates who openly endorsed and pledged their support to vote massively for him.

Mourners at the funeral grounds cheered him on upon arrival in the company of some members of the #teamGoosie2020 campaign.

He was also accompanied by General Secretary of NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, and MP for Bodi, Sampson Arhin, and Member of Parliament for Juaboso, Kwabena Mintah Akando, former Western Regional Minister, and Paul Evans Aidoo among others.

Mr Tanoh has so far promised delegates of the upcoming election with a message of hope to empower grassroots of the party who he says have been neglected for decades by past leaders of the party.

He has also vowed to restore the lost confidence of floating voters in the party, create job opportunities not for only members of his party but also for all the citizenry.

Goosie Tanoh is an original founding member of the NDC, he was the personal assistant to Chairman Rawlings during the PNDC era.
