Ghanaian Men Are bad In bed - Actress

Ghanaian men may have to upgrade their sex skills because actress Helen Asante has stated categorically that many Ghanaian guys simply do not know how to have good sex that satisfies both partners.

She complained that Ghanaian guys were only interested in releasing sperms and once that was achieved, they abandoned the whole art of sex and love making.

“Majority of them are mostly and only interested in just ‘coming’ and do not care about what their female partners feel…It is not fair. I have got issues with guys. As a young lady…I think I am a young lady trying to please my man and in the process, I tried whispering words into his ears, telling him sweet stuff that turns him on but when it is my turn, he does not do anything.

“All that Ghanaian guys want is sex, sex and sex. Majority of them don’t care about lovemaking; all they want is sex. Trust me, if a guy doesn’t come (ejaculate), he will start having issues with his girlfriend,” Helen complained while speaking on TV 3’s Late Night Show hosted by actress Ebi Bright.

The program was about love making.

Interestingly, Helen is a 24-year-old with small features, therefore it is a wonder she does not get sexually satisfied by the Ghanaian man or men she goes to bed with. She also did not say how many rounds of sex she expects men to go, how long each round should last or what sexual position would satisfy her libido.

The two male panelists on the show, actor Eddie Nartey and Daddy Bosco of Hitz FM, appeared completely taken aback by Helen’s complaints.

While Eddie argued that he was not part of the Ghanaian men who could not perform well in bed and that Helen might have tried the wrong set of guys, she would have none of that and insisted that as far as she was concerned, Ghanaian guys were just boring in bed.

Helen is one of the lead casts in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s directed ‘Adams Apples’.

She recently told filmafric.com that working with Shirley was not just stress free but one of her best experiences in the movie industry.

“It is good being on Shirley’s set. It is quite professional. Everything is done according to time. It is good and not stressful. You don’t go on set when things are not prepared, locations are not ready, and props are not ready. But with Shirley, everything is ready for you.”

Born into a family of six, she hails from Kyebi in the Eastern Region.

She started her education from Snap Nursery school at Asylum Down in Accra, then to Sunset Preparatory School, before continuing at Wesley Grammar High School and the Adonai Institute of Radio and TV presentation, where she took a six-month course in 2005. She subsequently enrolled at the Zenith College, where she graduated with a certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Helen’s dynamic and hard working in nature. Coupled with her love for movies, landed her a career in Ghana’s revived movie industry. She first had a stint with the industry in 2004 after Senior High School. Her first role was a palace maid in Venus Film’s ‘Wedlock Of The Gods’. The same year, she played the role of a prostitute in ‘Crime To Christ’, starring top actor Majid Michel.

Hot Shot Production from Nigeria, Lagos, later contracted her for a TV series ‘About To Wed,’ where she was featured in an episode as Rita, a university student schooling in Nigeria.

Back in Ghana, she was cast for ‘In The Eyes Of My Husband’, alongside Juliet Ibrahim, Van Vicker and Nadia Buari. She has since appeared in a lot of movies including ‘The King Is Mine’, ‘Sin of the Soul’, ‘4play’, ‘4play Reloaded’, ‘Love For Rent’ and the upcoming ‘Somewhere In Africa’ and a number of others.

Besides acting, she develops story ideas and writes them for producers. She also does subtitling and screenplays.
