Women in Denkyira have pleaded for forgiveness for their husbands for murdering an innocent Captain Maxwell Mahama.

According to the Queen Mothers, the name of their beloved Denkyira have been brought to disrepute after killing the Captain who was in their community to help fight galamsey.

Captain Mahama’s death has left the country in a state of shock with Ghanaians indicating that the country is no more safe since anybody stand the rishk of mistaken identity and could get lynched by such people.

But Queen Mother of Assin Tantaso, Omanhema Nana Abena Gyamfuah speaking on behalf of the queen mothers in Denkyira said the brutal killing of Captain Mahama at Diaso is very unfortunate.

This she explained amounts to the shedding of innocent blood which she is certain will incur the wrath of the gods of the land.

“It is very unfortunate to see a human being subjected to this inhumane act without any reason and that saddens our heart” she added.
