CAF commissions Ghana project

CAF president, Issa Hayatou would on Friday commission the sport body?s Development project Contact with Africa in Ghana.

Issa Hayatou, who arrived Thursday, would be introduce Ghana?s project for the new project before Friday night?s CAN 2008 programme where the MTN Africa Cup of Nations mascot to be unveiled .

The Development project Contact with Africa is a grassroots oriented and direct financial assistance from CAF to all national associations.

The Ghana Football Association has already appointed its education and development officer who will be introduced on Friday at the ceremony.

Since the inception of the project Contract with Africa last year, CAF has donated $100,000 to 10 national associations each.
