The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has attributed a fire that broke out at the boys’ dormitory of Kadjebi-Asato Senior High School (SHS) on Monday, December 2, 2025, to an electrical fault.
In a statement released on December 3, 2025, the GNFS said a preliminary investigation indicated the incident stemmed from illegal wiring connections.
The fire, which erupted on the morning of December 2, 2025, destroyed one room and its contents on the first floor of the dormitory.
