Presidential run-Off crucial - Boakye

Atwea (Ash), Dec. 15, GNA - Mr. Kwaku Boakye, Chairman of the Atwea branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in the Nsuta-Kwamang-Beposo Constituency, has said the presidential run-off scheduled for December 28 is crucial in the political history of Ghana.

He urged the Convention People's Party (CPP), People's National Convention (PNC), Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) and their supporters to support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the run-off. Mr. Boakye in an interview with the GNA at Atwea near Nsuta, called on Ghanaians to vote massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, NPP presidential candidate.

He urged Ghanaians to participate in the country's democratic process and contribute to national development.

Mr. Boakye urged NPP supporters and activists to conduct house-to-house campaign to educate the electorate on the achievements and manifesto of the party to win more votes for the NPP. He called on NPP polling agents to be vigilant on December 28 to avoid any election malpractices. 15 Dec. 08
