Cruiserweight Ezra Sellers of Washington, D.C. (27-5-0, 24 KOs) won an eight-round unanimous decision over Ghana's Joseph Awinangya of West Palm Beach (11-6-4, three KOs) on Saturday night at the Seminole Tribe of Florida Coconut Creek Casino. The judges had it 79-73, 79-73 and 80-72.

This was an undercard to the main fight, in which, Colombian Angel Priolo won the vacant WBC Latin American bantamweight title with a controversial 12-round split decision over Vernie Torres
