Quarshie and Elizabeth win CAL Bank Golf

Accra, Aug. 27, GNA - Isaac Quarshie and Elizabeth Yabah became the proud winners of this year's CAL Bank Open Golf Championship that was played at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday. Quarshie returned a net score of 68 to beat Francis Akafo and Robert Aziamakpor on count-back to win the event for the first time. L.A. Ayissah placed fourth with 69 net when he also beat Frank Etwi-Barimah and Nicolo Catto on count-back. Betty Alottey Sowah came second in the Ladies event with 70 net, beating Francisca Vandyck on count-back while Nana Bema Tackie placed fourth with 71 net. Mr. Frank Adu, Junior Managing Director of CAL Bank gave the assurance that the company would continue to support the promotion and development of Golf in the country.
