Police Complete Investigation Into Missing Dollars

Kumasi, (Ashanti Region) 8 Oct.,

The Police Striking Force in Kumasi has completed investigations into the missing 1,500 Dollars and 30,000 cedis at the Church of Judgement Day at Apatrapa, near Kumasi. A police source however said the docket has been submitted to the Attorney-General's Department for advice. It said the owner of the monies, Nana Tabi, a musician, consulted the leader and founder of the Church, Prophet Enoch Akwasi Asiamah, for spiritual bath to enable him to travel abroad. After the consultations, Nana Tabi was handed over to one of the Pastors called Kwaku Duah, who is in charge of purification and bathing rituals. Before the process, Nana Tabi was led to Pastor Duah's room which is near to the bathroom to undress in readiness for the rituals. Nana Tabi took off his clothing and put them on Duah's bed after which the two went out for the rituals. After the exercise, Nana Tabi came back and dressed up and went to another place to meet Pastor Duah who prepared some concoctions for him and asked him to leave. The source said after some time, Nana Tabi came back to report to Prophet Asiamah of his missing purse containing the monies.
