Criticisms against Tsatsu's style unwarranted - NDC

A member of the governing NDC’s legal team has described as unwarranted, criticisms of the party’s lead counsel pace of cross examining Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the election petition case at the Supreme Court.

Lawyers of the petitioners and stalwarts in the main opposition NPP say Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata’s style of cross-examination has been a drudgery and disappointment.

Judges sitting on the case had complained about the manner in which Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata was conducting his cross-examination. They want him to compile all duplicated pink sheets instead of treating them separately.

Member of the NDC legal team Abraham Amaliba has jumped to his defense saying Mr. Tsikata has done a good job so far.

Another member of the NDC legal team Nana Ato Dadzie also told XYZ News that the concerns are misplaced.

Mr. Ato Dadzie noted: “Lawyers for the NDC will defend every single polling station and every single pink sheet because the NDC won and they won fairly”.
