Contenders for annual African Football Confederation (CAF) awards, which will be announced in Johannesburg on tuesday:

Footballer of the Year: Al-Hadji Diouf (Sen), Samuel Eto'o (Cmr), Samuel Kuffour (Gha)

National team of the Year: Senegal, Ghana youth, Egypt youth

Club of the Year: JS Kabylie (Alg), Kaizer Chiefs (Rsa), Petro Atletico (Ang)

Coach of the Year: Emmanuel Afranie (Ghana youth), Luis Goncalves (Angola youth and InterClube), Bruno Metsu (Sen)

Champions League Player of the Year: Flavio Amado (Petro Atletico/Ang), Essam al-Hadary (Al-Ahly/Egy), Bennett Mnguni (Sundowns/Rsa)

Goal of the Year: Said Abdelhafiz (Al-Ahly/Egy), Zoubeir Baya (Tun), Mustapha Hadji (Mar)

Save of the Year: Mohamed Belhani (Entente Setif/Alg), Essam al-Hadary (Al-Ahly/Egy), Mohamed Zouabi (Esperance/Tun)

Young Player of the Year: Derek Boateng (Gha), Pedro 'Mantorras' Manuel (Ang), Mohamed al-Yamani (Egy)

Merit award: Abdelhamid Bassiouni (Egy) for 117-second hat-trick against Namibia in a World Cup qualifier

Special achievement award: Petro Atletico (Ang)

Career merit award: Said Belqola (Moroccan referee)

Fair play award: Nigeria national team

Women in Football Achievement Award: Nastasia Tsichlas (Sundowns/Rsa)

Best indoor footballer: Tamer Ismail (Egy)
