Barbara Mahama, wife of the late Major Maxwell Mahama, has shared a touching video of how she celebrated May Day with her husband last year.

As Ghana marked Labour Day on May 1, the widow also took time to share an emotional video of how she and her late husband enjoyed the moment during this same time last year.

Barbara posted a short video in which she was together with her late husband, radio presenter Abeiku Santana and a junior brother called Maxy.

The couple appeared to be enjoying the moment as they posed to take a selfie together with the aforementioned duo.

The late Major Mahama died in May 29, last year after being lynched by the people of Denkyira Obuasi, now New Denkyira, on suspicion of being an armed robber.

The death of the late soldier caused widespread uproar, with many Ghanaians condemning the act of mob justice.

He was subsequently given a state burial, with President Akufo-Addo setting up a fund to cater for his two children he left fathered before his untimely death.

However, his wife is still yet to get over his death, and the latest video of their time together goes to show how close they were.

Almost a year after the soldier was killed gruesomely, the trial of this case is yet to begin.

The 14 persons who allegedly killed military officer major Maxwell Adam Mahama are claiming innocence as they told the Accra High Court on March 21, 2018 they are not guilty to the murder charges filed against them by the State.

At least 52 people were earlier arrested and put before a District Court in Accra but 38 of them were discharged, leaving the 14 others who prosecutors said had a case to answer in the gruesome murder that shocked the country.
