Arrest Yamin over claims Pastors, NPP sacrificed humans ahead of election – Ashanti Region NPP

The Ashanti Regional Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Sam Payne has called for the immediate arrest of former deputy Coordinator of National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Joseph Yamin for alleging that some renowned pastors and NPP members buried human beings as sacrifices, just to see President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in power.

According to him, Yamin’s comment borders on criminality for which reason he must be invited by the police to prove his claim..

Speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkra, Mr Yamin, called on Ghanaians to blame these pastors for these heinous crimes, saying the country has been cursed due to the ‘dirty’ prayers said by these pastors during the electioneering.

“Ghanaians are witnessing the outcome of Nana Addo’s victory. The dirty prayers by Rev. Owusu Bempeh, Pastor Otabil, Rev. Prof. Martey and others during the 2016 elections to change government are the cause of deaths, suicide, accident, burnt markets and other occurrences in the country. They should tell us what they did during their prayers. The consistency of women committing suicide within the first three months of Nana Addo’s administration is questionable.

I am telling you, Ghana is cursed, today the spiritualists should tell us where the curse is coming from, so that we all pray about it. They are part of the curse Ghana is going through, just to see one man become President, some people buried human beings for sacrifices,” he alleged.
But speaking to Kasapa News, Mr Sam Payne rubbished the claims by Yamin saying the latter’s comments must be treated with the contempt that it deserves.

“The NPP did not do any sacrifices, we ran a good campaign…Ghanaians bought our message of hope and voted for us. He must be invited by the police to explain himself further and give evidence of his pronouncement. The days where people maligned their political opponents freely are over, propaganda has no place in our politics now. Yamin as a former deputy NADMO Boss and NDC Regional Secretary must ensure that his utterances are always seasoned with salt and are also statements he can defend anyday.”
