Apostle Brakatu urges Christians to extend christmas love to nonbelievers

The Chairman of the Apostles’ Continuation Church International has charged Christians to desist from the era where they gave alms to their fellow Christians only.

According to Apostle-General Clement Brakatu, Jesus Christ whom Christians follow “laid down his life for believers and non-believers” hence Christians ought to extend alms to people they see as pagans to be able to “draw them closer to the Christian faith so they don’t perish tomorrow.”

He made this known in a Christmas message to Ghanaians and members of the church across the world which he posted on his Facebook timeline.

He also said believers who share their “joy with their fellow believers and ignore non-churchgoers” is “contrary to what Christianity portrays.”

Read the Full Statement below:

“Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you all.

A season like this that focuses on the birth of Christ should be a season to share what we have with the less privileged in the society, just as Christ Jesus shared his life with us.
(Read Galatians Chapter 4:4-5).

Every now and then, Christians share their joy with their fellow believers and ignore non-church goers which is contrary to what Christianity portrays.

Jesus Christ laid down his life for believers and non-believers so let us share the love of Christ with non-believers and draw them closer to the Christian faith so they don’t perish tomorrow.

From the Headquarters of the Apostles’ Continuation International, I wish you all well in the coming year which holds so much fulfilment, glad tidings and Signs and wonders.”
