Black Stars winger, Antoine Semenyo endured a nightmare debut in the UEFA Champions League as Spanish giants Real Madrid beat Manchester City 3-0 at the Bernabéu.

The cagey encounter took place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Spain, where the 15-time champions showcased their class with a commanding result despite a squad depleted by injuries. Uruguayan midfielder Fede Valverde’s hat-trick sealed an emphatic victory in the first leg.

Semenyo featured in the game, but his usual influence was missing as he struggled to make inroads against Madrid’s defense.
