The Round of 16 fixtures in the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League produced goals galore, with some top clubs asserting their dominance while others struggled for positive results on March 10, 2026.

One of the favorites for the title, Bayern Munich, continued their impressive run after traveling to Italy to dismantle Atalanta 6-1.

The Germans dominated from start to finish, with Josip Stanišić opening the scoring in the 6th minute. Serge Gnabry doubled the lead in the 25th, before goals from Nicolas Jackson, Michael Olise, and Jamal Musiala sealed an emphatic victory. Mario Pašalić scored a consolation goal for Atalanta.

Elsewhere in Spain, Atletico Madrid thrashed struggling Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur 5-2 to take a commanding lead heading into the second leg.

Marcos Llorente, Antoine Griezmann, Robin Le Normand, and a brace from Julián Álvarez completed the rout. Pedro Porro and Dominic Solanke scored for Spurs, but the result left them with a mountain to climb in the second leg.

While Bayern and Atletico showcased their brilliance, it was a different story for Spanish and English giants Barcelona and Liverpool.

At St James’ Park, Barcelona were held to a 1-1 draw by Newcastle United. The Magpies controlled much of the first half but failed to convert their chances, with goalkeeper Joan García making key saves.

The game opened up in the second half, and Harvey Barnes struck in the 86th minute. However, Thiaw's foul on Dani Olmo in the box allowed Lamine Yamal to convert a late penalty to level the score.

In Turkey, Galatasaray secured a slim but crucial 1-0 win over Liverpool thanks to a goal from Mario Lemina.

Other fixtures scheduled for February 11, 2026, include Real Madrid vs Manchester City, Bayer Leverkusen vs Arsenal, Bodø/Glimt vs Sporting CP, and Paris Saint-Germain vs Chelsea.
