Disqualified Presidential candidate for the Independent People’s Party (IPP), Kofi Akpalo has described the Presidential Candidate of the new Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo as a calm and pleasant person.

He rebutted claims that Nana Addo is arrogant disclosing that the period he has spent with him, shows he is a man with a good heart and means well for the country.

To this end, he called on the electorate to join forces in order to mandate him as Ghana’s next president at the polls.

“It is wrong to tag him as arrogant; that is not Nana Addo. He is a very calm person and very nice man to be with. He could be an extrovert but he is not a violent and arrogant at all”, he told Kwame Adinkra on Abusua Nkomo

Mr Akpalo who recently declared his support for the NPP, disclosed that he is working seriously to ensure that Nana Addo becomes the next President of the country adding that the NPP and the IPP share common things in their manifestos.

“The NPP’s manifesto has elements just like mine and Nana has proven beyond reasonable doubts that he is a nice person with a good heart”, he emphasized.

He is also optimistic Nana Addo will win the elections, reiterating that they in IPP are working tirelessly to ensure that.

While admitting that the other presidential candidates are his friends including President John Mahama, he observed that Nana Addo stands tall in terms of his vision for the country and must be supported to implement his plans.
