Dwarfs supporters donate to club

Cape Coast (Central Region) - The Supporters Union of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs on Monday presented food items worth two million cedis to the team at a ceremony at Cape Coast.

The items included rice, flour, tuna, Milo, sugar, margarine, milk, mineral waters and toilet rolls. Making the presentation, Mr Twintoh Walker, spokesman for the supporters said the union would give the team two million cedis and a cow it they qualified for premier division.

He said the items were to motivate the team to play above themselves in order to qualify for the premier division. Frank Mensah, captain of the club who received the items on behalf of the team thanked the union for its kind gesture and hoped it would enable them to perform creditably to meet the expectations of the donors and all lovers of the club.
