The Deputy Chief of Staff, Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, has issued a public apology for shoving a military officer at the Ghana Military Academy on January 30, 2026.

In a post shared on his Facebook page, he explained that the action occurred “after his repeated disruption of a live camera operator during today’s ceremony.”

"This is to apologise to my friend, Cpl. Ofosu, for physically pushing him away after his repeated disruption of a live camera operator during today’s ceremony," he said.

He expressed confidence that the apology would be accepted by the officer and other security personnel involved.

"I know he and my other friends in uniform will accept my apology as we work to enhance and improve our existing collaboration at events," he added.
