Emmanuel Worlasi, Lead Pastor of Conquerors Chapel International, has prophesied that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is destined to become president, drawing parallels with the biblical figure Cyrus.

Speaking on The Verdict with Isaac Addae on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Prophet Worlasi explained that God revealed a vision showing Bawumia playing a pivotal role in Ghana’s future.

“That same Cyrus helped the Hebrews to establish themselves and even to build their temple. That’s the way he’s going to use Dr Bawumia exclusively,” he said.

He added that he personally shared the vision with Dr Bawumia, quoting scripture to explain the prophecy. “This is what the Lord has delivered to me. Let the people out there know. I’m telling you. And I will not be surprised. This word will surely materialise,” he stated.

Prophet Worlasi emphasised that his prediction stems from his ministry and spiritual revelation, rather than personal interest or political affiliation. “It’s not because I have prophesied. I don’t care about anybody. It’s about my ministry,” he said.

He concluded by affirming his confidence in the prophecy, urging the public to take note of the message as a divine insight into Ghana’s leadership future.
