Former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen, has stated that it would be difficult for any political opponent to defeat Johnson Asiedu Nketiah in a political contest.

Speaking in an interview on Okay FM, Obiri Boahen said his comments were based purely on his long-standing experience in Ghanaian politics and were not influenced by personal interests.

“It will be difficult for anyone to win against Asiedu Nketiah,” he stated.

According to him, his assessment is grounded in political reality and years of observation within Ghana’s political landscape.

“I am saying this with my years of experience in politics,” he said. “I am not saying this because Asiedu Nketia has given me any money.”

The former NPP executive further dismissed suggestions that his remarks were based on opinion polls or external analysis.

“This is not Musah Dankwah’s polls either,” he added. “This is based on a simple fact.”
