2nd Annual Coach Owuo Homowo Junior Tennis

(17th – 21st August 2016)

The 2nd Annual Coach Owuo Homowo Junior Tennis open has ended in Accra over the weekend.

The tournament which was organized by the CEO of International Centre for the Educational Leadership, Abraham Steiner, was sponsored by the Klottey Korle Member of Parliament, Hon Nii Armah Ashietey and the Rapid Diagnostic Centre. This was in honour of the Late Coach Abraham Nortei Owuo, an indigene of Osu and also a Royal of the Owuo We.

Coach Owuo was a Ghana Education Service appointed coach who devoted his lifetime playing Tennis and his adult life in developing and nurturing going talents in Osu and its environ.

The theme of this year’s tournament was “Developing Healthy Children through Sports -“Tennis”.
