The deal, which was brokered through the African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF) takes effect from 2010 that would enable the Association receive various sports equipment from the International Federation for the promotion and development of the sport in the country.

The deal follows a request made by Mr Kwame Amponfi Jnr, General Secretary of GTTA who doubles as the Vice President of Africa Table Tennis Federation Zone III at separate Congresses of the Africa and World Federations held recently in Egypt and Yokohama. The equipment, the General Secretary told GNA Sports will go a long way to support the initiative of the Ghana Olympic Committee and National Sports Council to develop table tennis in the country.
