Central Region Division II League postponed

Cape Coast, Sept. 16, GNA - The Central Region Division II League competition scheduled to commence on Sunday, September 18 has been postponed a week later to Sunday, September 25, 2005. Mr Mathew Doe, Regional Chairman of the Football Association who disclosed this to GNA Sports on Tuesday said the postponement has become necessary to enable registration cards of players to be validated. He apologised to the Clubs for any inconvenience the postponement might have caused them and asked them to bear with the Association to ensure that the right procedures are followed. Meanwhile 31 out of the 35 Clubs in the Region have so far registered with the Association to participate in the League. 16 Sept 05
