Yakubu wants permanent move

Vitesse Arnhem's Abubakari Yakubu wants to make his loan switch to the club a permanent move.

The midfielder is currently on loan from Dutch giants Ajax and is thoroughly enjoying his time at the club.

Yakubu has one more season on his Ajax deal and is in the dark with regards to what the club has in store for him.

"I've got no idea what will happen. I still haven't heard anything from them [Ajax]," he said to Omroep Gelderland.

"Here I feel appreciated. I notice from the other guys that I'm important."
