Former Ghana Youth international Ransford Osei excelled for his Finnish club RoPs in a drawn game with Mariehamn.

The former under 20 sensational forward set the Rovaniemen Arena ablaze with his quick feet at home to the much fancied Mareihamn in a 0-0 thriller.

The nomadic attacker failed to live up to his billing after a promising start to his career at the World Youth championship where he was adjudged the best player.

Osei joined RoPs from South African Premier league Polokwane City and has featured in 9 of the club’s 11 league fixtures in the Finnish top tier league.

Ransford Osei formed a deadly partnership with Dominic Adiyia under Sellas Tetteh’ s all-conquering squad of 2009 in Egypt. The once dreaded forward has so failed to replicate his early career form in a nomadic career across Europe.
