Ghana's probable line-up against Mauritius

Ghana coach Avram Grant Ghana coach Avram Grant

Ghana coach Avram Grant is unlikely to shake-up his regular starting line-up when the Black Stars take on Mauritius in Sunday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Port Louis.

The Israeli coach is expected to maintain the same player who have served the side well in the qualifiers despite the presence of some new players.

Ghanaians would be yearning to see how Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey will gel in the Black Stars following his maiden call-up squad but Grant will go for a sure bet in Afriyie Acquah.

English Premier League winner Jeff Schlupp is another player supporters of the team want to see start ahead of Baba Rahman or Frank Acheampong at left-back or left midfield respectively but it looks like the status quo will be maintained.

Newboy Patrick Twumasi is not expected to take Jordan Ayew's place while Abdul Kadiri is not expected to take John Boye's position.

Razak Brimah remains the first choice keeper as the away game means there should be no gambling.
