Nii Adjei slams Kotoko over Duncan impasse

Former Asante Kotoko captain midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei has chided the current management for the current ‘melodrama’ impasse between the club and coach David Duncan.

Nii Adjei, who now plays for African champions TP Mazembe, suggests the management has been amateurish in running a big club like Kotoko.

Kotoko have told head coach Duncan to step aside after guiding the club to the bottom of the Ghana Premier League after six matches.

But Duncan claims he is still at post because there is no step aside clause in his contract with the club.

On Tuesday, he went to training ground to supervise their training session but the squad and assistant coach trained at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Nii Adjei posted on Facebook on Tuesday morning the following: "When you say something about the team Asante Kotoko some people will always attack you.

"I remember I said they are managing the team like a small team and someone from the management insulted me but now look at how shameful they are doing to the team."
