Nii Adjei scores for TP Mazembe in Champions League

In-form Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei scored for TP Mazembe when the Ravens held Ethiopian side Saint Georges to a 2-2 draw in the CAF Champions League on Sunday.

The 27-year-old initiated an attack from midfield and finished it off with a powerful drive from inside of the box at the Bahir Dar Stadium after the hosts had taken an early lead.

Adjei has been in fine shape for Mazembe since the arrival of new manager Hubert Velud.

The former Asante Kotoko midfielder scored both goals in the CAF Super Cup triumph.
