Raja Cassabalanca defender, Awal Mohammed has disclosed that their win over the weekend will be the turning point for the club in the Moroccan league.

Awal, 27, lauded the performance of his team mates and said the win will motivate them to win more in the coming weeks.

Raja had not recorded a win in their two games in the league losing 1-0 to Maghreb Fes and drawing 1-1 with Kawkab Marrakeh.

The Cassabalanca based club recorded their first win of the season over Mouloudia Oudja away and the Ghanaian insists that is the turning point for the side.

In an exclusive interview with GHANAsoccernet.com, Awal said “We have been yearning for this win and I believe this will be the turning point for us. It is our first win of the season.”

“We have a very good team and I believe that now that we have a win, we shall build upon it and win more,” Awal added.

Awal Mohammed is one of three Ghanaian players playing for the Moroccan giants as Nathaniel Asamoah and Yakubu Mohammed also joined a few months ago.
