Kwadwo Asamoah begins Juventus pre-season

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah started pre-season training with Juventus on Monday ahead of schedule.

The left wing-back cum midfielder was running at the Vinovo camp with newcomers Sami Khedira, Simone Zaza and Paulo Dybala, even though they weren’t expected until July 20.

Martin Caceres was also training at Vinovo yesterday.

Asamoah and spent several months on the sidelines last season due to a knee injury that limited him to just seven appearances in Serie A last season.

Reports surfaced last month in England of an interest from Arsenal for the versatile midfielder, who has also previously been linked to clubs like Chelsea.
