Middle League: Bronkyempem hold Dwarfs

League leaders, Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs was on Saturday held to a goalless draw by Techiman Bronkyempem in a National Middle League tie at the Accra Sports Stadium but still maintained their position at the top of the table with seven points.

Even though Dwarfs, heavily tipped to win the encounter played better at some stages of the game their performance fell a little short of the splendid show they exhibited in their last game against Kpondo Hearts of Lions winning 2-1 through late goals.

Having had the best of the exchanges in the first half, many anticipated the Cape Coast boys would carry the day, but to no avail.

Throughout the game, the Bronkyempem strikers marshalled around Ahensan Siasia exhibited shyness upfront and it was goalkeeper Amoateng Joe who stood between Dwarfs and victory saving tricky situations whenever Dwarf's live wire, Ekow Ghansah and his men made a move up front.
