Our aim is not to end Kotoko's dominance - Saeed

The Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Muheeb Saeed has said the objective of the club is not to end Asante Kotoko’s dominance in the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors have won the Ghana Premier League for three consecutive seasons, and remain favorites for the title this coming season.

Speaking to footy-ghana.com in an exclusive interview, Saeed affirmed that the priority of the Phobians is to perform better than what the club had shown in the last five seasons, noting that Hearts Of Oak will play productive football which would draw vociferous fans to troop to the stadium to support the players.

"The target isn’t Asante Kotoko. The target is to do well and win the league. We are going to play excellent football. We hope to get the results but it’s a competition, so we can only do our best and see what our competitors would also do but what I can say is that, we are going to play very positive, exciting football football and get the results."

Hearts Of Oak will lock horns with West African Football Academy, on match day one of the new First Capital Plus Premier League which kicks off on January 18, 2015.

The Phobians last won the league in 2009.
