Adu Kofi revels in top flight triumph with Malmo

Ghanaian midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi is buzzing over his second European league triumph with Malmo FF.

The 24-year-old helped the Blue Skies to their 21st top flight success in just his debut season at the club.

Kofi is back to club success after unproductive spells in Belgium and Norway with Club Brugge and Stabaek respectively.

The ex Ghana youth star is happy to be a champions once more again following a similar success with Nordsjaelland in the Danish top flight in the 2012/13 season.

“I thank God for this league triumph. It is the best reward to have after putting in a lot of hard work,” he told Hello FM.

“When I left [Nordsjaelland] I went to Belgium and then to Norway when things weren’t working out well.

“But I kept working and thankfully things are beginning to look up again.

“This is what footballers live for – to win silverware – and I am very excited to have this achievement also.”

Adu Kofi made 15 appearances in helping Malmo to a successful camping in Swedish top flight.
