Rabiu rubbishes injury reports

Kuban Krasnodar midfielder, Rabiu Mohammed has rubbished reports of him carrying an injury in Ghana’s pre-World Cup camp.

The 24-year-old has been in the news in the past few days as some Ghanaian journalists claim he is harbouring a carried-forward injury from his Russian club.

The reports go further to say that he would be dropped from the provisional squad as a result of the injury concerns.

But the former Evian midfielder says there is no iota of truth in what is circulating in the Ghanaian media.

"I am 100 percent fit and even training with my colleagues at camp as we prepare for Holland on Saturday," Rabiu told Konogo-based, Kings Radio.

"I have no intention of missing this world cup tournament and I am fully fit for the games.”

Rabiu, 24, was instrumental during Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers.
