Aduana hold Bechem in outstanding fixture

Bechem United and Aduana Stars settled for a 1-1 draw in an outstanding First Capital Plus Premier League Week 27 fixture on Sunday afternoon.

The match which took place at the Sunyani Coronation Park due to a one-match home ban imposed on Bechem, the home side, by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association for crowd violence saw the visitors draw first blood.

Daniel Darkwah put Aduana ahead in the first half but Bechem fought hard to draw level after recess through Emmanuel Asante whose equalizer was enough to fetch a point for the home side after Emmanuel Akuoko had missed a glorious chance to secure all three points for Aduana from the spot.

Sunday’s draw was enough to lift Aduana one point above the relegation drop to the thirteenth position while Bechem sit three places above on tenth.
