Akwasi Appiah to cut sod for Educational complex

Ghana coach Akwasi Appiah will today cut the sod for the construction of an ultra-modern sports and educational complex to start up his charity foundation.

The facility which is being built in Juaben Abetim in the Ashanti Region over a 12 acre land will be mainly financed by the Black Stars coach.

The Black Stars coach believes such a huge plan will best suit his way of giving back to the community rather than give out regular alms.

Beverage producers Guinness and GHACEM – the cement producing company – have also pledged some form of financial and logistical assistance in the construction of the facility which will be named; the Akwasi Appiah Foundation.
