Galatasaray linked with Akaminko

Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko is now a subject of transfer target for Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Akaminko has been a stalwart for his Super League side Eskisehirspor for the past two seasons at the club.

The 25-year-old, one of the highly-rated versatile defenders in Turkey, will cost Roberto Mancini’s side 14 million euros.

Galatasaray need reinforcements for their UEFA Champions League campaign.

The Ghana international has already been linked with French Ligue 1 big spenders AS Monaco.

The centre-back made 16 appearances for Eskisehirspor for the first half of the season as they lie sixth on the league table.
