Ex-footballers lambast Ghana FA

Former Ghana International, Nana Agyemang Gyau has slammed Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi and his FA for failing to show respect to old Ghanaian footballers.

Speaking in an interview after the 1963 group of players who won Ghana’s first ever Nation’s Cup were awarded in a colourful ceremony on Friday, Nana Agyemang Gyau stressed that the inability of the FA to grace the occasion clearly indicated that the Ghana FA led by Kwesi Nyantakyi lacks respect for ex footballers.

He said “It beats my imagination as to why the FA President or any member of the FA was not present at this august occasion. I am sure they would have been present if it had been an occasion for its current players because of their personal interest in their activities. This clearly shows that the FA lacks respect for us as ex footballers”.

“Starting from the head I think they should all bow their heads down in shame because every country honours its past heroes unless Ghana”. - See more at: http://www.sportscrusaderonline.com/ex%c2%adfootballers-lambast-ghana-fa/#sthash.5PfZ78e8.dpuf
