Own-goal leads to AshantiGold destruction

AshantiGold are one of the biggest casualties in the Round of 16 matches in the MTN FA Cup after losing to second-tier side, Gold Stars on Sunday.

The Miners' hopes of reaching the quarters were undone by an own goal by Felix Baffoe as they went on to lose 3-1 in Bibiani.

Yakubu Mohammed scored AshatiGold's consolation.

But two more goals from Gold Stars' Prince Gyamfi and Richmond Kojo eliminated Bashir Hayford's side.
