Kotoko submit 26 names for CAF Champions League

2011/12 GPL Champions Asante Kotoko have confirmed their participation in next season’s CAF Champions League with a list of twenty-six (26) players to the African Football governing body, CAF, footy-Ghana.com can reveal exclusively.

The two-time African Champions return to Africa since the last time in 2010 where they bowed out of the competition through penalty shoot-outs to Senegal’s ASC Linguère at the preliminary round.

CAF provides 30 slots for all participating clubs for player registration but the Ghana Champions submitted 26 names and this enables the club to make a further addition when CAF opens the second registration window for the club to beef up if they make it for the group stages.
